From the onset, it was evident that Crostyx were hungry for the win. Their strategic gameplay and disciplined defensive approach kept East London at bay throughout the match. The Crostyx players lead Captain, Charlotte Six showcased strong teamwork and excellent ball control.

It was in the first half when the breakthrough came for Crostyx. In a well-executed play, Laura Abbot managed to find the back of the net with a powerful shot. The credit for this goal goes to Donna Blockley for her quick and precise free hit followed up by Alys Hackett, who smartly played a pass that set up Abbot's goal. The combination of their skills and coordination left the opposition defence stunned.

As the second half unfolded, the intensity of the match heightened. Both teams fought tooth and nail, determined to secure the result in their favour with man of the match, Anna Feldman a stalwart in defence overturning the ball countless times. Crostyx, however, managed to extend their lead through a perfectly executed short corner.

Hackett, who had already demonstrated her skills earlier in the match, took charge of the corner and delivered a sensational drag flick. The powerful shot tested the East London goalkeeper, who initially made a remarkable save. But the rebound fell to the hands of Blockley, who wasted no time in slotting the ball into the net. The combination of Hackett and Blockley proved to be lethal for the opposition.

Despite East London valiant efforts to stage a comeback, Crostyx defence remained solid with Lisa Dixon, Vicks Berill and Carla Preston holding tight, denying them any real scoring opportunities. The match showcased an extraordinary display of skill and sportsmanship from both sides.

Crostyx emerged as deserving winners with a final score of 2-0. Their cohesive gameplay, accurate passing, and clinical finishes secured them a well-deserved victory. East London, on the other hand, displayed determination and passion throughout the match and can be proud of their efforts.
