The combined Crostyx & Waltham Forest U14 boys had a great match against Hampstead and Westminster team who were 2nd on the table before the game. With of mix of U12 boys as well, they quickly moved to a 2-0 lead in the first session before being pegged back to 2 all. From then it was all Crosstyx/WF with 5 more goals including a hatrick to Liam Higgins as well as goals to James, Rees, Matthew and Mustafa with the final score at 7-3. Everyone contributed with the backs often closing some some very fast opposition front men.

With a lot of games being cancelled due to frozen pitches, it was a great effort to the get the game on (even if some of the spectators were a little frozen). Well done to a combined team that hasn’t had a lot of combined practice. A thoroughly deserved result.
