The weather was great on Saturday morning as we assembled for a pre-season tournament at Chelmsford.

This tournament was a good chance for us to blow off the cobwebs prior to the season starting properly and get the body working again. Unfortunately we sustained 1 injury during the first game but everyone stepped out and some of our younger players got to try out different positions which they excelled in.

There was some great hockey from everyone and we went from strength to strength as the games progressed with our passing and movement improving as the legs got tired.

We finished 2nd overall with Southend winning the Cup.
