With the regular skipper still sunning himself in Florida and stand in skipper unavailable, the 2's had to resort to a has been to rally the troops against a first team from Basildon. Availability had been shaky however a couple of much welcomed late additions of returning injury victims made up for the loss of a back line shorn of 3 regular starters.
